On December 8, 2021, Arnon Melo, MELLOHAWK Logistics’ president and two-term CONCID Brazilian Citizenship Council member was presented the Order of Rio Branco at a formal ceremony at Itamaraty Palace in Brasilia.

Instituted in 1963, the Order of Rio Branco honors the patron of Brazilian diplomacy, the Baron of Rio Branco. The order is awarded to Brazilian citizens and foreigners who have distinguished themselves in service to Brazil in the field of international diplomacy, through commendable actions of charity, and consultation.

Arnon Melo is recognized as an Officer of the Order for service to the Brazilian community in Canada coordinating the many generous and selfless volunteers who believe in doing good and for his efforts at improving relations between Brazil and Canada. Previous awardees include iconic figures for Brazil, such as Prime Minister of Portugal António Costa, and Pelé, the world-renowned soccer player.
